November is a month of productivity, it seems. There’s Movember aka No Shave November for facial hair productivity. There’s also NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) to get authors motivated to write. And there’s NaBloPoMo, which stands for National Blog Posting Month.
For the 16+ years that I’ve been blogging (mostly personal), I’ve never put any kind of hard structure to my blog posting schedule. But in the spirit of productivity, I will attempt to participate in NaBloPoMo for the next 29 days.
What can you expect to see in the next 29 days? Well, I currently have 28 posts sitting in the drafts folder. Some I started and never finished. Some have been sitting there since I started this blog. And, well, there are about 20 more sitting in my brain that haven’t even been given a proper title yet.
In my head, I was thinking this is a great opportunity to start and document a daily practice. While I’ll do better to share my irregular yoga practice with you, I think those will be sprinkled throughout. November is a really funky month with Thanksgiving and end-of-year madness as clients at my day job are scrambling to cram in last-minute projects to use up the last of their marketing budgets. (Look at me, making excuses to NOT get on my mat already! Haha.)
With that said, I hope you’ll stick close to the blog as I ramp up my posting for the month. And hey, maybe I can convince my co-workers to strike some amazing No Shave November themed yoga poses for your amusement. Happy NaBloPoMo, y’all!
